Green coffee processing methods vary

Dry processing (Natural)

Dry processing is a method of preparing coffee that is widely used throughout the world. As a result, ripe coffee berries are harvested, and the impurities are removed before being dried on the truss in thin layers, evenly mixed. Depending on the weather, the drying process takes about 3 weeks. The coffee beans will be fully preserved with the most natural flavors using the dry pre-processing method, highlighting the chocolate, fruity, and bitter taste of the coffee cup.

Wet Processing (Washed)

After being harvested, the coffee berries are placed in a meat separator before being placed in a large soaking tub for fermentation. Finally, wash and dry the remaining meat that clings to the husk of the coffee beans. Wet pre-processing yields a higher flavor quality for each coffee bean. The fermentation process aids in preserving the maximum amount of acid in pure coffee beans, preserving the natural acidity of each type.

Honey processing (Honey)

This method’s basic principle is to select the best ripe coffee from the farmers’ orchards and machine the husks. Following that, the coffee beans will be evenly distributed on a high trellis, sun-dried, and covered with a plastic roof. In ideal conditions, the drying process takes 20-45 days. The honey processing method enhances the fruit flavor of the green coffee beans, increasing their flavor diversity.
