I had this flavor of coffee before and really liked it in a one-pound bag. It was partially roasted. I fully roasted it so that it brought out more of the chocolaty flavor. I don't have a roaster so I had to use my oven, but it still turns out good.
There is also a full-bodied aroma that comes from good coffee that I like. I don't know how to read more about the review stating - you're the chef, what? It's GOOD!mpare it. Caffeine doesn't do anything bad. So, no side effects, and the quality of the beans are good - same size same color - They look good.
I am experimenting blending the robusta beans with arabicas. So far i am using a 4:1 ratio, i.e. 4 parts arabica and 1 robusta. I am not yet set on the roast levels but trying a darker robusta with a lighter arabica. So far i see that the robusta gives stronger and flavorful taste to the blend.
